This is the moment the heart stops, as a family dog saved his older sister from drowning after she fell into a pool.
The clip shows Luna, a blind 14-year-old bull, walking by the pool on December 19, before finally falling down and rescued by fellow Caipirinha dog.
Julieta Verbo, the dog owner, shared CCTV footage taken in the garden of her home in Sun Charles, Argentina, and praised Caipirin for saving Luna’s life.
Next to the post, she wrote: “Yesterday while walking in the yard, she fell into the pool.”

Caipirinha tries to save her brother by dropping his paw in the water and holding Luna’s collar.
He later manages to secure the stricken dogs before leading them to the shallow end of the pool, which is located in the family’s garden.

Heroic Caipirinha, rescued by Julieta, immediately forges a close relationship with Luna after she got to know the family during a trip to Brazil.
The dog’s owner – who described Caipirinha as “our hero” – told Argentine news outlets Todo Nocitas that Luna’s mother, Sera, 15, is also blind and has a close friendship with Caipirinha.
She said, “The two are inseparable. Luna is an old bull. Her mother, Sira, is 15 years old and lives with us too.”
Luna becomes part of the Firpo family after her former owners threw her out of the window of a car while at a Brazilian gas station.
